Orange County Marathon
Please accept the gratitude and thanks of all the ICEC Staff and Families for all you donated on our behalf -- your time, your money and your enthusiasm. ICEC received over $1,200 in donations and all involved enjoyed both the process and the outcome of our partnership with OCM. Two ICEC Volunteers/Runners were profiled by OCM as the center page (spotlight) of the spectator and participants guide, which was handed out to all the runners. NCL Fashion Show on March 30th to benefit ICEC
On March 30, 2008 NCL-RIC presented it annual fashion show fundraiser themed “A Secret Garden”. Hundreds of volunteer hours go into to organizing this event soliciting items for the silent auction and preparing the girls for the show. For the first time in 20 years NCL has distribute the proceeds of this event with more than one charity and ICEC was selected as one of the organizations to receive a portion of the funds raised. In the past the day has netted $25,000 to $30,000 for charity. The contribution to ICEC from the fashion show will be in ADDITION to $5,000 donated in 2007 to underwrite our Parent Night out Program in 2008.
